??F - Lilial Jahad (3) This is the one hundred thirty-second chapter of Volume 3 of Tower of God. It follows the different groups and their situations after warping away from the Battle of The Nest. Rachel mingles with the upper class of the Po Bidau Family, allowing her to visit Khun while he is in prison.
Synopsis[]
Inside Lo Po Bia Lilial Zahard's ship, Cha and Ha Jinsung are discussing why Lo Po Bia Traumerei would chose Twenty-Fifth Baam, who is a slayer candidate from FUG to be his son-in-law. Cha is confused by this decision, but Jinsung thinks it is quite rational, since Baam could upend the balance between the 10 Great Families. This would be important when they go to war with each other. Exhausted after the Battle of The Nest, Baam goes into a deep sleep that night, where he meets Leviathan who tells him about Traumerei.
Ship Leesoo, Hatsu, Berdych, Sola, Mule Love, Evankhell, Augusgus, and Sophia Tan have arrived at Seolhyangwon. They are greeted by several people, clothed in late Joseon dynasty Hanbok, standing on a massive tree. Evankhell asks Sophia what this place is, which she responds that it is a place sacred to FUG where Arlen Grace once stayed.
Lo Po Bia Faitz demands that the trespassers come to meet him or else he'll come to them, but Baylord Yama, Baylord Doom, and Karaka are not intimidated by a mere Ranker. Meanwhile, Dowon is looking for a place to make a call to Cha. Yama does not want to fight someone weak like Faitz, but Yama changes his demeanor when Karaka tells him that the soldiers Faitz is controlling are Beastkin and that Faitz is likely a member of the Lo Po Bia Family. Yama jumps down to Faitz, grabs the end of his whip, and questions Faitz about his identity and what he is doing with the Beastkin. Yama begins to beat Faitz up so that he will answer the questions.
At the Reading Room of the Ark of Knowledge in front of a crowd of several long tables, Lo Po Bia Pudidy is reading from The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, with Lo Po Bia Perseus and Lo Po Bia Holan standing behind him. Meanwhile, in the third area of the Book Garden, Rachel is meeting with a trio of fools from the Po Bidau Family upper class: Po Bidau Enver, Po Bidau Lou, and Po Bidau Ragma. The trio are disappointed that Ha Yura is not present, since they are big fans of her, which makes Rachel threaten to remove their opportunity to meet Yura and their connection with Po Bidau Bellerir. They quickly apologize, saying they care about Rachel as well, since she is one of the few who are nice to them. Rachel asks about Khun Aguero Agnis who is in prison and whether they can sneak him out, but they are unsure about it since it is rumoured that Po Bidau Gustang is interested and Po Bidau Matte Ha is keeping watch over him. Rachel asks again, but with the backing of Bellerir, which makes them reconsider, saying that they will try to convince Matte.
The Vice Commander of the Guards Matte is not pleased with Vice Captain of the Mothership Bellerir's many requests. Bellerir realizes this, but reassures Matte that since Gustang appointed him Vice Captain, it's because Gustang trusts him, and promises that this time will be the last. Bellerir proceeds to walk past Matte, together with Rachel. She asks Matte how many times Bellerir has said "this will be the last time," and responds that she should keep quiet and move along. In Prison, Khun is brought to the reception room. He meets Rachel, who teases him. Khun asks why she is there. Bellerir ignores Khun and asks Rachel if this is the guy who will be his new disposable pet, his blue cat, before asking Khun to say "meow."

Notes and Trivia[]
- Po Bidau Matte Ha is the Vice Commander of the Guards (부호위장, Buhowijang), which consists of Vice (부, bu) + Guards (호위, Howi) + Commander (장, Jang)
- Po Bidau Bellerir is the Vice Captain [of the Mothership] ([모함의] 부함장, [Moham-ui] Buhamjang), which consists of Vice (부, bu) + Captain (함장, Hamjang). Captain here means ship commander, ship (함, Ham) + commander (장, Jang), and not the army rank of Captain (대위, Daewi).
