The Great War was a huge scale war and battle that took place across all Floors of the Tower between the allied forces who opposed the coronation of Zahard to become the King of the Tower, led by Arlen Grace and V against King Zahard himself and his Empire.
The origins of The Great War emerged from the fact that Zahard decided to stop climbing the Tower and locked the door to the 135th Floor in order to become the King of the Tower. Arlen and V opposed Zahard's desire, as they wanted to keep climbing. However, Zahard insisted on becoming King and made the necessary contract with the Administrators to be acknowledged as King. He then proposed to Arlen to marry him, but she refused and ran away with V, starting the war with the organization they founded to steal the Key in Zahard's possession, infuriating Zahard. For unknown reasons, despite conflicts even among the 10 Family Heads, the other Great Warriors all sided with Zahard, despite the data of Khun Eduan from the Hidden Floor said that if he had to pick someone to become king of the tower it should be V.
In the end, the battle ended with a big victory for the Zahard Empire, as the power of allied forces weren't enough and were heavily outnumbered with the 10 Great Families fully supporting the Empire. The allied forces suffered major damage and casualties and Arlene and V were forced to retreat in defeat. Due to his rage towards Arlene's betrayal and starting the war and inability to move on from his love for her, Zahard eventually killed Arlen's baby son, causing V to commit suicide as Arlen went insane and Arlen then left the Tower in search of the Outside God to revive her dead baby who was killed by Zahard himself.[1]
