Rak Wraithraiser (라크 레크레이셔, Rahk Rekraisher; or "Rac Wreckraiser") is a C-rank Regular[10] from the Wraithraiser species. His position is Spear Bearer. He is a direct descendant of the Native One.[11] Rak is originally a giant-size creature, but after he mocked RankerYu Han Sung, the Second FloorTest Director, his body was shrunken intentionally by the Ranker. He eventually found out how to get back to his giant-size. Because of this, he also becomes one of Compression Licenser users.
It is implied that Rak climbs the Tower in search of 'something that transcends all things'. This would be something above wealth, glory, authority, and revenge.[12]
SIU stated that "Wraithraiser" is actually the name of his race. The Wraithraiser species come from a place where there are only turtles and themselves to be found. Thus, they hunt and eat turtles; and regard everyone but themselves as turtles.[1]
Rak loves bananas but has trouble peeling them. He also hates Quaetro for burning his bananas because they were yellow.[14]
Rak likes eating meat, bananas, and childish food. He basically eats a lot.[15]
Rak mini form was shown early in Best Challenge, right after the Crown Game, but it was later on Webtoon.[16]
SIU has stated that Rak is a character that is very convenient to utilize, he doesn't use his head or hide feeling inside. So SIU doesn't need to think too much about his character. Of course, he is difficult to draw when he gets big.[17]
