Po Bidau Michel

Po Bidau Michel (포 비더 미켈) is a High Ranker from the Po Bidau Family, a Head Librarian and the commander of the mysterious gigantic floating ship that can shoot exploding white light shockwaves similar to the power of Shinwonryu as stated by Lo Po Bia Traumerei.^[3]

He first appeared (although only his blue goggles was visible) when Gustang ordered his family members to kill any Lo Po Bia Army who intends to enter inside their territory.^[4]

Appearances and Personality[]

Michel is a dark skinned male with white silver hair. He wears dark blue shirt and pants, white coat hanging over or tied to his shoulder, and a very stands out-looking blue goggles with some pinkish and purple shades.

He is kinda arrogant as seen when he gave out an order to shoot their cannon towards Traumerei and he even made a joke about it in his phone group chat that he will fight Traumerei. The attack never happened because within just split seconds, the right flank of Michel's fleets were totally obliterated into pieces of debris after Traumerei summoned Lazy Elgore. Michel quickly changed his mind and decided to run away through space warping and completely withdraw the entire fleets immediately. However, Michel did not seem to be scared that he's standing in front of Traumerei and does not cowering in fear within the Irregular's presence. He is brave but also wise enough to know when is the time to retreat.^[3]

Powers and Abilities[]

Given his position as a Head Librarian, and commander of the most important floating ship that can quickly turn the tides of the war, Michel is highly likely to be a High Ranker, so he's very strong since he also has been given charge of an entire fleet.

When Po Bidau Hugo confronted him for his earlier attacks on her forces and his own family, Michel demonstrated some of his abilities. As shown, he speed and reflexes were sufficient enough that he could easily dodge all of Hugo’s needle strikes and shinsu attacks without injury. ^[5]

Shinsu Manipulation[]

As a member of the Po Bidau Family, Michel has demonstrated to possess his family’s trait of being an exceptional Wave Controller.

Twisting Shinsu: In his fight against Hugo, Michel demonstrated the shinsu technique of being able to entangle her with Shinsu in order to twist and warp her body against her will to restrain her. This technique manifests as a several rings of blue shinsu appearing in his opponent’s body. Which then forcibly contorts his victims limbs into strange angles to prevent them from moving. As shown, this technique is powerful enough to restrain and restrict a High Ranker of Hugo’s level.^[5]

Notes and Trivia[]

He holds the same title as Po Bidau Richemont, a Head Librarian or Arch Librarian.
Michel stated that he and Richemont were both born from the writings of family head (Gustang's scripture).^[6] As revealed by later chapter, Gustang possess the literal ability to create beings using by writing. With all Head Librarians of the Po Bidau Family being his personal creations.
- As explained, each of the Head Librarians had inherited a trait from Gustang. With Michel being created from Gustang's "Twistedness".^[5]
