Po Bidau Guiscard (포 비더 기스카르) is a High Ranker from the Po Bidau Family. He first appeared when Baylord Yama and Lo Po Bia Yasratcha infiltrated the floating island Rott.
Guiscard revealed that he was sent by Po Bidau Gustang to this remote village in order to retrieve Gustang's memory which is sealed within a book. The book is also the reason why Yama and Yasratcha infiltrated the village.[1]
Appearances and Personality[]
He is a blonde, tall and a very muscular man. He appears as a calm individual and a book nerd. He has complex tattoo all over his chest and stomach area that is linked to his "binding ability". He wears a plain white shirt, black long pants and glasses.
Powers and Abilities[]
Guiscard is a High Ranker, so he is very strong.
Spells[]
Guiscard has been shown to be able to cast spells strong enough to bind and affect High Rankers.[2]
- Binding Cuff: A technique where Guiscard creates a binding arm cuff that forcibly restricts his opponents, the two cuffs themselves are connected to each other through a water shinsu chain. As shown, the cuffs where powerful enough to easily capture and bind two extremely powerful High Rankers. [3] As revealed by Guiscard, the Cuffs also have a trap like function that activates by unlocking the cuffs with a fake key he also possess, the actual “key” to unlock the cuffs are the tattoo’s inked on his chest. The exact mechanics of how to safely unlock the cuffs were not shown. [4]
- Key of Despair: Used in tandem with the Binding Cuff, Guiscard tricks whoever is bound by the cuffs into unlocking them using this key. Unlocking the cuffs using this key causes the cuff that was unlocked to transform into a Needle, which would then pierce the heart/core of the victim who unlocked it.[5]
- Needle: As shown, the unlocked cuff that transforms into a needle is powerful enough to pierce the flesh of High Rankers. As implied by Guiscard, this attack typically kills or severelly injures the victim instantly after the needle pierces their hearts. As shown, the needle itself doesn’t simply targets the victims heart, but whatever is considered to be their “core”, as seen where the needle pierced Yasaratcha’s crystal like core instead of targeting his biological heart. As shown from his confrontation against Yama and Ysaratcha, Guiscard has a good reflexes and agility, enough to evade surprise attack of Yama and Yasratcha combined. Guiscard himself was shown to be physically skilled enough in hand to hand combat to beat Yama and Ysaratcha while they were bound and handicapped together using his binding cuffs and their movements were restricted. Later, he showcased was able to physically endure a direct punch from Yama with only minor injuries.
