Po Bidau Bellerir

Po Bidau Bellerir (포 비더 벨레리르, Po Bideo Bellelileu) is a Ranker of the Po Bidau Family. He is second-in-command of the Ark of Knowledge when Family Head Po Bidau Gustang is absent.

Appearances and Personality[]

Bellerir has brown short hair and orange eyes. He has a tattoo on his forehead. He wears a white shirt and dark brown pants.

As shown, Bellerir has the general disposition of being arrogant, relaxed and condescending to others. This is seen where he would frequently flaunt his status as the second in command of the Po Bidau Family and braggs about how he is Gustang’s heir.

Later, it was revealed that Bellerir is a member of the Revolution, a group actively plotting to overthrow the 10 Great Family Heads, showcasing that Bellerir himself is not truly loyal to Gustang and is actively plotting to overthrow him.

History[]

Bellerir was noted to have only recently come into power over the Po Bidau Family. With Gustang recruiting him with the promise of assisting him with destroying the 10 Great Families and the Great Family Heads.

Bellerir’s official story is that he is a secret child Gustang had with a unknown partner in the past. However, as noted by Po Bidau Tiara, this claim is dubious even with Gustang confirming it. As it is a well known fact that after his split from Eurasia Blossom and Eurasia Enne Zahard’s sealing, Gustang has refused to have any other biological children or take up any other wives/partners and instead created his current family members using his powers. ^[1]

Rachel and her team were seen walking on a corridor inside the Bellerir's Palace, heading towards the reading room. After they arrive in front of a big door, Rachel asked for permission to enter the room When she and Yura walked into the room, Po Bidau Bellerir greeted them. Bellerir claimed to be the heir of the Po Bidau Family and the future leader. Not long after they entered the room, Rachel recevied a message from Emily in her phone, revealing a picture of Khun Aguero Agnis which put a big smile on Rachel's face. She quickly suggested an idea to Bellerir if he want a slave that can work for him.^[2]

When Bellerir and Rachel visited the prison where Khun was held captive, they encountered the prison guard named Po Bidau Matte Ha. The prison guard warned Bellerir that despite the fact that Gustang appointed him second in command, he cannot keep letting him into the prison. Bellerir shrugged it off, saying that his father trusted him and commented that this will be the last time.^[3]

Powers and Abilities[]

As shown, despite being the second in command of the Po Bidau Family, Bellerir himself is quite weak in comparison to the other high ups of the family. This is notably seen where Po Bidau Tiara was able to easily subdue Bellerir with no notable effort. ^[4] Later, after possessing his body, Enkidu noted how weak Bellerir is and confirmed that he wasn’t a High Ranker. ^[5] Notablly, Bellerir lacks some of the basic abilities of a Ranker/High Ranker, such as the ability to fly and lacking the same superhuman physical attributes common to most Rankers.

Although unknown if it is his main position, Bellerir has shown to own and use a Observer, hinting to him being a Scout. ^[6]

Despite how weak he is and lacking many of the basic abilities of a Ranker/High Ranker, Bellerir has showcased a few unusual abilities. One of these is him apparently being immune to some of the effects of Enkidu’s body stealing. As shown where Bellerir was able to retain his ego and personality and communicate with Enkidu after the latter had possessed him, surprising the latter. ^[7] As shown, the two have now become akin to two symbiotic entities inhabiting the same body, with both Bellerir and Enkidu now being able to exert their individual personality in their shared body at will.

Later, when Enkidu released both him and Lo Po Bia Goruro, Bellerir showcased to have gained some of Enkidu’s unique qualities/abilities. Namely his power to transform his body into a blue like jelly, allowing him to sneak up on others or quickly travel discreetly. With Bellerir showcasing that he now possess the unique quality of Enkidu to incorporate other beings into himself, as shown where he is now a fusion between himself and Goruro, with Bellerir being the one mainly dominant between them and Goruro seemigly being subordinate to him. As shown where he could apparently make parts of Goruro’s body form from his own body, such as his head. ^[8]

Notes and Trivia[]

His name is very likely a reference to the Spanish footballer or soccer player Héctor Bellerín who played for Arsenal Football Club (2013-2022), since Author SIU had previously used Arsenal players' names multiple times for naming references, such as Tower of God characters like Walcott, Ssong, and Sanchez.
