Moontari (문타리, Muntali) was a Regular and one of Aka Williams' subordinates. He was on the Hell Express with Aka and some of Aka's other subordinates; he was taking part in the Dallar Show game as part of Jyu Viole Grace's team.
Appearance and Personality
Moontari was a blue-skinned man with dark grey hair, grey-blue eyes and two silver studs above his left eyebrow. He worn dark clothing and carried around a dark-coloured staff.
He was a confident guy and was seemingly very perceptive, as shown when he noted something special about Baam. He was also very loyal to Aka out of admiration and fear.
When he first appeared, Moontari was trying to scout members of Baam's team to join "Sir Aka". However Boro told him to leave and, noticing Boro's presence, he politely went on his way. However he followed them and was watching when Baam effortlessly beat a bunch of Regulars.
Later on, he was seen with Mahan watching as the Regulars on the Residence floor fought for the seven places in a game. He was disappointed when Ha Yura arrived and stopped it by offering them the chance to travel with her.
Moontari was next seen watching the first match of the tournament and was interested by Baam's talent. Then, when Ran arrived and trash-talked to Aka, his leader told him to sort Ran out. Moontari then had a small confrontation with Ran and overwhelmed him after freezing him with his use of reverse-flow control. Their fight ended when Ran was sent crashing down on to the field of play. After then being told of the trap that had been set he, Aka, Boro, Baam, Ran and Hwa Ryun set off through the maze in order to catch Rachel's group. They eventually reached the exit but, with the elevator damaged, they had no way to get down to the Entrance floor. Baam then got an idea and, after implementing it, the group reached the Entrance with Aka smashing the door down just as Ha Yura was readying to cross to the other side of the floor. They give chase and, just as they were about to catch her, Yura switched on the guardian with it loosing a potent blast at the group, allowing Yura and her teammate to escape.
As Mirotic continued to attack, Moontari watched as Baam managed to find a way past the guardian using Hwa Ryun's power as a Guide. Then he, Aka and Ran continued to withstand Mirotic's attacks as the guardian went on the offensive. Ran put forward the idea to counter-attack Mirotic and Aka decided to put the plan into action. As Aka activated "Combustion", Moontari explained to Ran what it was. Aka then confirmed that if Ran could deliver critical damage, they could unsettle the guardian. Mirotic then fired another spear at them and Aka stopped it with his powers; another spear quickly followed and, after Aka prompted him, Moontari stopped it allowing Ran to strike with one of his Lightning Spears. However the attack failed to damage it and Ran was struck down. Suddenly, Beta appeared and landed a successful hit much to Moontari and Aka's surprise however they struggled to land many more afterwards. It wasn't until Beta's allies appeared that the group managed to gain the advantage and eventually defeat Mirotic.
With the guardian down, the group travelled to the stairs where they came across Daniel, Boro and Baam. With Daniel denouncing Aka and Boro and promptly destroying the stairs, they were prevented from following and left wondering how to get up.
At the 'Altar' Moontari was one of the people that witnessed Hoaqin effortlessly decimating a large amount of the Regulars at the station.
Later, with only 10 minutes left to board the train, Moontari and his allies raced towards the stairs of the train but caught the attention of Hoaqin on the way. After a mish-mash of brief incidents, they were all teleported to the train conductor's office. The conductor introduced himself and then informed them about a game that would decide who would become the Slayer candidate in a month's time. At that, he teleported them away to different locations in the train.
Their group immediately encountered the guardian Yokim and they planned on taking him down until Hwa Ryun suggested that from that point onwards, Baam was to take all tests by himself in order to prepare for challenging Hoaqin. Moontari then watched as Baam took on Yokim and eventually defeated the guardian, enabling them to pass the stage.
During their traversing of the train's pathways, the group eventually encountered the "god" of guardians. Despite suggestions to turn back, Baam decided to stay and challenge the "god" of guardians and was snatched up and taken away as a result. Moontari and the others then waited for three weeks for Baam to return.
Eventually Baam hurriedly returned and the group narrowly made it to the 4th stage in time.
Moontari and the others listened to the rules of the Dallar Show and then watched as Koon coolly won the first round. During the second round game, "Transferring the sweetfish", Moontari was partnered with Hanool Kang and Viole. With Moontari noting the pipes' creepiness and his eagerness to fight Hoaqin, the group decided to look for more allies. They then stumbled across Buelsar Elliot, whom Moontari proceeded to fight. Viole was willing to help, but Moontari recommended Viole conserve his energy for the fight with Hoaqin. Elliot, however, quickly dispatched Moontari by slicing him in half before challenging Viole to a fight.
Powers and Abilities
Moontari was an experienced D-rank Regular and had rode the Hell Train before, allowing one to assume that he was fairly powerful for his level. He was able to seemingly effortlessly overcome Koon Ran without taking any damage and had shown the ability to use reverse-flow control, probably via Fast Skip. Moontari was powerful enough to pressure and match Buelsar Elliot for a time before being killed by the latter.
