Lo Po Bia Pokoko (로 포 비아 포코코, Lo Po Bia Pokoko) is the Branch Head of the Turtle Family, a branch family of the Lo Po Bia Family.[1]
Appearance and Personality[]
Pokoko spends a lot of time hiding in a turtle shell. He appears as a small human, small enough to fit in the palm of the hand. He has green eyes and medium wavy green hair that he keeps in a low ponytail that resembles seaweed. He wears a brown and black striped shirt with green finishes, along with simple brown shorts that match his brown shoes.
He seems rather shy, spending most of his time hiding out in a shell. When he is with Lobadon he acts rather childish, crying and hugging him. He shows himself to be a bit of a coward, hiding during the battle to escape capture, and reacting in fear of Kirin's threats.[2]
History[]
Tower of God: Part 3[]
Conflict[]
Pokoko is one of the Branch Heads summoned by Lo Po Bia Kirin to hunt the irregular.[3] Pokoko attends the call of the Lo Po Bia Branch Heads, as some of them begin to argue against participating in this war, Kirin threatens them, causing Pokoko to react with fear.[2]
Gustang's Library[]
Along with the rest of the Lo Po Bia forces, Pokoko engages the Po Bidau family in battle. However, along with the other Branch Heads he is surprised at Kirin's sudden departure.[4]
Heading for the Arena[]
As the battle continues, the mothership of the Po Bidau Family arrives, leaving Pokoko terrified.[5]
Enkidu[]
Using his small size, Pokoko was able to escape capture, remaining on the battle field until Lobadon's arrival. Lobadon immediately questions him about what happened, Pokoko explains the events of the battle along with Bellerir's plan to have Traumerei be defeated by his own underlings.[6]
Powers and Abilities[]
As one of the Branch Family Head of the Lo Po Bia Family, Pokoko is a High Ranker and also an Anima.
Physical Abilities[]
Stealth[]
Pokoko apparently always hides inside his small turtle like shell. As shown, Pokoko has an uncanny ability to hide and avoid detection, even from High Rankers, This skill in stealth is fully seen in his fighting style, where he typically fights by summoning his giant turtle and controlling it while remaining hidden. Pokoko was notably able to avoid being detected by Po Bidau's Army when they ambushed him and the other Branch Heads: his stealth allowed him to stay hidden and avoid being captured, unlike the rest of the surviving Branch Heads, until Lobadon came to his rescue.
Anima[]
Giant Turtle[]
As shown, Pokoko controls the Giant Turtle, a Shinheuh given to him by his father, Lo Po Bia Traumerei, in acknowledgement to Pokoko’s strength and power as the Branch Head of the Turtle Family.
- Perfect Shell: A technique where Pokoko and his Giant Turtle create a massive barrier around themselves and their allies. As shown, Pokoko initiates this technique by conjuring multiple hexagonal shields around himself and his giant turtle that then expand in size and connect with each other, forming a gigantic spherical barrier. The barrier is powerful enough to block and scatter a huge blast from the Po Bidau Army’s ancient weapon and completely shield Loabdon’s field army, scattering the blasts.[7]
Relationships[]
- Lo Po Bia Kirin: Pokoko fears Kirin enough to participate in the war once threatened, even at the risk of facing a Family Head.
- Lo Po Bia Lobadon: The two of them seem close, with Pokoko immediately rushing towards him and hugging him once they reunited following the battle against the Po Bidau family.
