Tower of God: Part 3[]
The Descent[]
Holan together with Perseus and Pudidiy arrived in The Nest while boarding the Lo Po Bia's Battleship as it crossing through the Warp Gate.
Defensive Battle[]
When Lo Po Bia Pudidy and Holan exited the Raven ship and headed towards The Frozen Waterfall in order to search the Irregular Twenty-Fifth Baam, they encountered Ha Jinsung who had been standing to guard the passage to the other side. Pudidy charged to attack Jinsung in close combat, while Holan stayed right behind Pudidy to give support. Holan summoned the Aegirocassis to attack Jinsung and it managed to push him back a few steps.[3]
After Pudidy and Holan realized that Jinsung was super defensive and purposely stalling time, they decided to go full offensive to break through Jinsung's defense. Pudidy summoned his giant owl Dobo, while Holan still stayed right behind Pudidy to give support. When Jinsung was heavily cornered due to Dobo's darkness skill, Holan summoned another spear fish called Cameroceras. When Jinsung barely managed to block it, Twenty-Fifth Baam arrived right behind him and proceed to obliterate Cameroceras with the power of Leviathan.[4]
Turning The Tide[]
After Holan managed to forcefully pulled Baam through Pikaia's skill in an attempt to capture him, Holan quickly summoned Parapeytoia to subdue Baam. However, Baam was able to block Parapeytoia's attack with Blue Thryssa Blue Shield (Stage 1).[5]

Powers and Abilities[]

Holan Summons an Ancient Shinheuh
As the leader of the Hatchling, a group of youth rising stars who will become Branch Family Heads in the future, Holan is the strongest of his peers. He had a very unique and extraordinary talent, which later was revealed that Holan can bring back Shinheuh that had been long extinct.[5]
Anima[]
Holan was stated to possess the unique ability and talent to revive and recreate extinct Shinheuh using Shinsu. This ability being similar to the Lo Po Bia’s Family Head’s own. As shown, Holan can produce an aura like energy around himself which transforms into the Ancient Shinhue he can then control.
Later, it would be clarified by Lo Po Bia Traumerei that Holan’s “ability” to “recreate” ancient and extinct Shinheuh is false. Rather, Traumerei through his experimentations, successfully recreated Ancient Shinheuh and created Holan to act as a container for them. With Traumerei clarifying thst he did this to test out the Ancient Shinheuh’s ability to latch on to a regular human and thus render them suseptible to an Anima’s influence. With it later being shown that by taking control of the Ancient Shinheuh within Holan, Traumerei was able to mind control and dominate him as well. [6]
The following are the list of extinct Shinheuh controlled by Holan:
Shinheuh Fusion[]
After Lo Po Bia Traumerei had taken control of him. He was able to make Holan fuse together with his Ancient Shinheuh. Turning him into a chimera like hybrid of multiple Ancient Shinheuh species. As shown, while in this form, Traumerei can command Holan like one of his Shinheuh and make him use several unique techniques.[6] [7] Later, after Gustang had triggered his curse on Holan and amde him self-explode, Traumerei had presumably revived/healed Holan and further mutated him into a even more bizarre Chimera hybrid.
- Shinheuh Labyrinth: While under Traumerei’s control, he can make Holan create and generate a living labyrinth made from Ancient Shinheuh. By having Holan unleash a horde of his Ancient Shinheuh, Traumerei can also have them surround a target, bite each other’s tails and connect each to then create a complex, living labyrinth. As explained by Traumerei, by using his Shinwonryu to boost the Shinehuh’s regenerative powers and the complexity of the structure created due to the various Shinheuh it is created from, it is impossible for even someone like Po Bidau Gustang, a Great Family Head, to destroy it all at once, as it is a literally infinitely regenerating labyrinth. However, a vital weakness to this technique, is Holan himself, who is the core of the labyrinth. As shown where Gustang cursed him to explode, the structure of the labyrinth began coming apart and allow Gustang to easily escape.
Notes and Trivia[]
- He is probably named after the Argentine professional football manager Ariel Holan.[1]
Quotes[]
- (Talking about Baam, after being knocked down by him) "If the divine sea animal hadn't protected me at the last second, I wouldn't be standing here now. How can a Regular be so strong? I didn't think he had Urek Mazino's kind of power. When did he get so powerful? I have the power to command long-extinct divine sea animals. It's my only talent but a very powerful one. I've always excelled at everything in life. Even while climbing the tower, becoming a Ranker, and earning prestige and respect within my family, I never encountered anyone with greater talent than me. The people ahead of me were like finished products that had already stopped growing. Aside from the family head, I'v never thought that anyone was more talented than I am. This is a first. I finally found someone more talented than me who's still growing. He's almost like a life form from another planet."[8]
