Living Ignition Weapons (살아있는 시동 무기, Sarainneun Sidong Mugi) are living beings who got their body turned into "weapon". Their body will be inserted with a random Ignition Weapon, even sometimes "unknown creatures" with special powers (which were referred to as "Devils" by the The Workshop). This is an advanced technology to modify human body and mixed it with weapons or creatures.
Living Ignition Weapons were created after extensive research and experimentation by Workshop Researchers, specifically the scientists of the Acorn Workshop. By injecting "Ignition Liquid" and "a unique creature" into the subject [2] a Living Ignition Weapon could be created. Many of the subjects that made up the experimental group "perished" due to side effects of the injections[1] and the research was carried out in secret, because using living beings was prohibited. The first successful humans to become Living Ignition Weapons were Beniamino Cassano (No.99) and Kang Horyang (No.21).[3]
Tower's Rules[]
It seems that Living Ignition Weapons can affect or break several rules within the Tower.
- During the 30F Workshop Battle, all Living Ignition Weapons are considered to be "humans" and "items" at the same time. They can use this advantages during game competition which use the system of The Workshop. Like when Khun Aguero Agnis tricked Beta into thinking that he will summon Twenty-Fifth Baam inside the Teammate Summoning Center but instead, Khun used Baam's privilege that marked him as "item" to summon Baam inside the Item Summoning Center.
- Another case would be Beta. He is not a Regular and has not been selected by Headon. In normal circumstances, Beta actually cannot climb the Inner Tower. But since Beta is a Living Ignition Weapon, he is considered as "items/weapon" and therefore he can climb the Inner Tower but he was still bound with several restrictions like he had to stay inside the Lighthouse of Khun Aguero Agnis. In the Floor of Death, Beta was able to roam around and exit the Lighthouse because there is no Administrator.

Notes and Trivia[]
- A person could become a Living Ignition Weapon after their body received routine injection treatment of "Ignition Liquid" which will be mixed with an "unknown creature".[2] If their body failed to adapt with the liquid, the subject will die.[1]
