Jump Pad or Jump Device (점프 장치, Jeompeu Jangchi) is a type of Shinsu Teleportation Device that are very simple and common to be used in the Tower. The Jump Pad itself is like a giant circular ground platform.[1]
Just like other type of similar devices, Jump Pad were created as additional technology to make assisted teleportation more common to use and more efficient without having to use Lighthouse for example. This device doesn't seem to be mobile though and once placed on certain area, it will not be able to move into different location.
Applications[]
Hell Train[]
Some area inside the Hell Train have a teleportation device with blue color that works similar like a Jump Pad to quickly move Ticketers from one test area to another test area inside the train. Baam used this device and teleported right in front of "God" of Guardians.[2]
The Workshop[]
There are devices in The Workshop Battle that functioned like a jump pad but they have a very different design like the platform is filled with water and have loading screen that appeared mid-air like hologram. The example would be the Summoning Well.[3]
The Cat Tower[]
The Jump Pads located on top of Cat Map Floating Fields are connected to the rules of Gakja Dosaeng game that anyone who are able to capture mouse/mice inside The Cat Tower can instantly teleport to the floating fields that they desire.[1]
