Yeon Yihwa's flames
Hwayeomsa or Flame User (화염사 (火炎師), hwayeomsa) refers to a person who is able to convert shinsu into fire and then use it for various purposes. However, it has been said that converting shinsu into a fire is very difficult to do. As Hwayeomsa is a special position which is not a standalone position but an additional role, every Hwayeomsa also have at least one of the five primary position.[1]

- It has been theorised by some that Hwayeomsa are able to reinforce their bodies without using shinsu, which would be very unique skill, in order to improve their physical capabilities.
- It is yet unknown if Black Fish is a Hwayeom technique or not.
