Hell Train Guardians (Hangul , Romaja) are "artificial" beings that rule and protects the Hell Train. They are a kind of "system" and also work much the same like the "Floor Guardian" who prevent Regulars from doing unexpected actions aboard the train. They are "artificial" beings that were made to train Zahard and the Great Warriors.
Their main role on the train is to become a Test for the Regulars who wish to advance quickly in many "stage" on the Hell Train. Fighting the Hell Train Guardian is only one of three types of Test on the train.
Hell Train Guardians have existed ever since child Zahard and Great Warriors still climb the Tower. According to SIU, the Zahard Empire has reigned the Tower for several tens of thousands of years. It means, Hell Train Guardians are also around that age. They were actually created to train Zahard and the Great Warriors.
The Hell Train Guardian can be killed, but they will "respawn" (a gaming term used to describe the action of something which's coming back to life or "reappear" after being killed.) Because they are "artificial" beings and part of the Hell Train "system". This was proven by Sachi and Boro who have many knowledge and experience about fighting the Hell Train Guardians, most notably "Yokim". This is due to the fact that Boro and Sachi had always repeatedly board the Hell Train ever since the tragedic event of their dearest friend Roen Yuia, which happened 600 years ago before Baam's arrival on the train. (Because of their repetitive experiences, Boro and Sachi already know the tricks to beat Yokim, it means they have defeated Yokim several times in the past.)
