The Acorn Workshop (도토리 공방, Dotoli Gongbang) is a department of The Workshop that researched Living Ignition Weapons at the request of FUG. This workshop also created the Boiling Acid as part of FUG's plans to dissolve Twenty-Fifth Baam into the Thorn. Aside from FUG's objectives, the Acorn Workshops also developed the "Emile App" using the special ability of Emile.

Structure

Maddox is the manager of the Acorn Workshop. He takes executive decisions and was responsible for the final experiment on Kang Horyang and Beniamino Cassano, which turned them into living ignition weapons.

Io and Punk took and interest in the special ability of Emile, so they were put in charge of this side project. Sophia Amae was the one that did not wish to discard Emile, so she has some influence within this side project. This offshoot also tried to use the remnants of Maddox's data to turn an average person into a living ignition weapon.

Research

Living Ignition Weapon

The Acorn Workshop had two main objectives related to Living Ignition Weapons. The first was to find out how to turn a living person into a living ignition weapon and the second was how to dissolve a living ignition weapon. The research was conducted on many abandoned kids from the middle area, among them Kang Horyang and Beniamino Cassano. They were the two first successful cases of living ignition weapons created at the workshop, but they were two among 99'999 kids. They eventually succeeded in their research with Emile, who they managed to turn into a living ignition weapon and then also dissolve her.

Emile

Emile was initially a test subject for the Living Ignition Weapon and was scheduled to be discarded, but her special ability made her into the next research project. The remnants of Emile was used to create the "Emile App", with the remaining funds provided by Madoraco.

History

Background

The Acorn Workshop took on a research request from FUG, who wished to create living ignition weapons. They were presented with two goals, to turn living people to living ignition weapons and to dissolve said living ignition weapons. They conducted the research on many abandoned kids form the middle area, which created the living ignition weapons of Kang Horyang and Beniamino Cassano. They eventually succeeded in their experiments with Emile, which they were able to turn into a living ignition weapon and then dissolve her afterwards. The remnants of the research on living ignition weapons was used to try to make an average person into a living ignition weapon, which created Beta.

This research was used to turn Jue Viole Grace into a living ignition weapon some time between part 1 and part 2 of Tower of God.

Tower of God: Part 2 - The Return of the Prince

During the actions of Part 2 the Acorn Workshop was mainly seen developing the "Emile App", while containing their failed experiment Beta. At the end of the workshop battle both Emile and Beta was removed from their care and it is not know what they are currently doing.
