This is the second civil war fought between the Baylord brothers over the right to rule the pack. However, this time FUG took part as a third party, which masked their ulterior motives by helping Paul in his attempt to revive Doom to his former glory.
Causation[]
This civil war is a response to the last civil war, 1st Canine Civil War, which left Doom sealed beneath The Cage and Paul in exile. Paul wants Yama dethroned and Doom made the King of the Canine People, while Khel Hellam wants to turn Doom into a puppet king. Both of these factions wanted Yama dethroned.
Participants[]
Baylord Yama's Coalition
They want Yama to continue to be the King of the Canine People.
- Baam's Team
- Karaka's Team
Baylord Doom's Coalition
They want to restore Doom as King of the Canine People.
- Baylord Doom
- Exiled Canines
Cage Reconstructionist
They want to make Doom into a puppet king to the FUG elders, who wanted to use the Canines to fight in a future battle. This would also put less focus on brute strength in The Cage, allowing Gado's weaker son Louie to not be marginalized.
- FUG Elder
- Madoraco's Team
- Canine Traitor
Summary[]
Altough there was a lot of planning prior to the start of the civil war, it officially started with the appearance of Paul inside the Cage. Paul killed several canines that were loyal to Yama and captured the Fang and took Deng Deng as a prisoner. Meanwhile, R attacked Baam and Jordan, but was captured by Jordan's attack, which he responded by killing himself. Gado revealed himself as a traitor to Yama and defeated Canzon, while Paul defeated Culden. Jordan and Baam goes to awaken Yama, but is stopped by Tall
Consequences[]
This civil war was devasting for the canines, with over half the canines dying to Yasratcha's mind control. Two of Yama's highest ranking members also died, while the rest of the officiers got captured by Yasratcha. However, Gado and Canson were replace by Doom and Paul, who accepted Yama as the leader of the canines. Yama aslo stopped being the slumbering King of the Canine People and awoke as a proper Slayer of FUG.[1]
