This article contains information about notable event in History of the Tower where Baylord Yama defeated his older brother Baylord Doom in order to take control and leadership of the Canines race. |
This is a civil war between Baylord brothers, which arose after the elders of FUG took interest in Baylord Doom and his special power that can produce fighting army, and promised to make him a Slayer in exchange for using the Canines to further FUG's goals.[1] Doom accepted this deal, with Baylord Paul agreeing with Doom and Baylord Yama disagreeing. This caused Yama to fight Doom over the right to rule the pack of Canines. At what time this civil war took place is unknown.
Causation[]
While the FUG issue was the trigger of the civil war, there was several underlying issues that caused it. Yama had gotten more and more upset with Doom because of his apathy towards the canine people, with Doom killing off canines he did not feel were useful or resisted him. Doom even killed one of Yama's most trusted underling Katu, after Katu confronted Doom about wanting Yama to be the leader of the pack.[2]

Summary[]
Although little is know about the exact details of the civil war, it was a long a grueling fight between Yama and Doom, which left most of the canines dead. However, the fight ended when Yama showed off his full transformation.[2]
Consequences[]
Most of the Canines died as a result of the battle between the brothers. Yama took Doom's heart and locked him up under the cage, while he banished Paul. In exchange for becoming a Slayer, Yama recieved a device with the help of FUG and The Workshop to harness the power of Doom to create for canines.[1] The battle between the Baylord brothers also caused both Paul and Doom to have a lasting fear of Yama's overwhelming power.[2]
